Saved money buying this reconditioned tool. Everything works as designed. I couldn't tell why it might have been returned other than maybe the previous buyer just didn't like or have a need for it. A couple of light scratches and some light wear and tear. I used it as a light metal cutoff tool and it has power to cut where my dremel was too small and underpowered.
