I ordered this saw to replace the old craftsman, First the saw arrived with the packaging in perfect shape, no banged up boxes. It came on a pallet and inclued 3 boxes. The saw is packed upside down in the crate, so the legs go on first. If you get this saw with a mobility stand consider using a ratchet strape to connect the saw and stand, that way when you upright it you won't have to lift it a second time. This saw had cast iron wings which are pretty flat and square, I used the flatest wing on the right side. The right wing is less than .003" of crown in the middle but both ends are dead flat. The left wing has betweem .006 and .007 of cup in the middle with the ends flush. I used a rubber mallet after securing the screws fairly snug, the adjustment was easy. The rest of the installation went very well. It took about 3 1/2 hours to install, but I was in no hurry. Throw the blade away (it's a 24 tooth piece of yard art)and get a good one (like a Forrest)
The saw has a baffle on the bottom with a dust port, dust collection seems to work fine. This thing is very quiet (compared to the craftsman) The trunnion is huge, and solid, the blade height and angle controls are stiff but feel as though they will breakin. I don't think I'll be changing my mind about the fact that this is a very good saw.
