Customer Review: Doesn't work as well as they advertise

Bought one of these at Costco. On the outside of the box it shows the unit cutting a rather heavy steel angle. If you read the instructions, it's only rated to cut 1/16" steel. Had one of these made by Sears years ago and have since burned up the motor. This would be a great tool if they'd just put a stronger motor on it so that you could cut heavy steel without blowing all the carbide teeth off the blades. Returned the Costco unit. All the ads show them cutting just about anything but be careful and read the instructions as they're not what they advertise. It would be nice if someone at Amazon would start screening the crap on their site and stop wasting people's money having to return junk that isn't as advertised. Costco is a better buy with their return policy and you don't have the mail order hassle with Amazon.
